New Delhi, 16 February (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed profound grief on Monday over the devastating fire at a chemical-firecracker factory in Rajasthan's Bhiwadi, extending deepest condolences to the bereaved families.

In a poignant X post,PM Modi described the Khushkheda Karoli industrial area inferno—which claimed seven lives at Plot No. G1/118B—as extremely heartbreaking, praying for the swift recovery of the injured and commiserating with those who lost loved ones.The early morning blaze, erupting around 9:30 AM, engulfed the private unit stocked with flammable chemicals and explosives; rescue teams recovered seven charred bodies—some requiring DNA identification—while fears persist for one possibly trapped worker.
