15 Feb (HS): On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, Uttar Pradesh

Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi and former Prayagraj

Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi performed Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva at the ancient

Manokamna Purti Shiva Temple in Bahadurganj. In the presence of Acharyas, the

Minister performed the ritualistic worship and prayed to Lord Shiva for public

welfare and virtue.

While wishing the people of the state on Mahashivratri, Minister Nandi said

that may the blessings of Lord Shiva, the Lord of the three worlds, the

protector and destroyer of the entire universe, remain on every person, this is

his prayer on the holy festival of Mahashivratri. Minister Nandi said that

every form and adornment of Lord Bholenath, who is worshipped by every person,

inspires and gives the message of being committed to public welfare. It gives

the message of making life balanced. The holy festival of Mahashivratri is a

festival of increasing our consciousness and taking the life force towards its

source by increasing it through meditation.
