New Delhi, 15 February (H.S.): President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, and Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah extended heartfelt Mahashivratri greetings to the nation's citizens on Sunday.

President Murmu posted on X, stating, On the sacred occasion of Mahashivratri, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all fellow countrymen. My prayer is that the grace of Mahadev may forever remain upon us all, and that our nation may always advance on the path of progress.

Vice President's MessageVice President Radhakrishnan described the festival as a vibrant symbol of India's unbroken and eternal spiritual tradition, spanning from Kashi to Rameshwaram. He expressed his auspicious wish that the grace of Mahadev and Mata Parvati bring happiness, prosperity, and good health to everyone.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah prayed that on this sacred occasion, Lord Mahadev, the Supreme Deity, bestow happiness and prosperity upon all lives.
