Gorakhpur,
14 Feb (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has stated that a degree from the
state's first Forestry and Horticulture University, to be built in Campierganj,
will guarantee employment for young people. Those graduating with degrees and
diplomas from this university will have extensive employment opportunities both
domestically and internationally. This university will also play a crucial role
in increasing the income of farmers.
Chief
Minister Yogi was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the renovated
Block Development Officer's office in the Jungle Kaudia block on Saturday.
Referring to the Jatayu Vulture Conservation Center in Campierganj, the Chief
Minister said that expressing gratitude is an integral part of our Indian
culture. Being grateful for someone's kindness is a part of our lifestyle.
Jatayu, the vulture, was a great blessing to mankind. He was the first to
retaliate against Ravana, who was abducting Mother Sita. He is also the vehicle
of Lord Vishnu, the protector of the universe. Today, due to the use of
chemicals and pesticides, the vulture population is dwindling and they are dying.
Therefore, a conservation center was established in Campierganj to express
gratitude and protect them.
The
Chief Minister announced that the state's first Forestry and Horticulture
Science University will be established in Campierganj. The diplomas and degrees
awarded to young people there will guarantee jobs across the country and the
world. Environmental pollution is the biggest challenge facing the world today.
Air pollution damages the lungs and gradually degrades the entire body. Without
pollution, disease will be eliminated. Referring to Delhi's air pollution, he
said that doctors there advise asthmatics, the elderly, and children not to
venture outside. This situation stems from environmental degradation. The Chief
Minister stated that Uttar Pradesh is experiencing both development and freedom
from a suffocating environment. In this context, the Forestry University to be
established in Campierganj will prove more effective in addressing
environmental challenges. It will also be a new initiative to increase forest
cover and boost farmers' incomes.
If
the intention is clear, the results will follow automatically: Discussing the
development of the state and Gorakhpur since 2017, the Chief Minister said that
when the intentions are clear, results come automatically. Thanks to
well-directed efforts, a fertilizer factory has become operational in
Gorakhpur. AIIMS is providing services in Gorakhpur, and BRD Medical College
has become a center of excellence in medicine. The sugar mill in Pipraich has
reopened. A compressed biogas plant has been installed in Dhuriyapur.

underway in Gorakhpur and the state. Only a vision of development will help
brighten the future of the current and future generations.

available to every eligible individual. All this is the result of a commitment
to development.

Minister also reverently remembered the late Rampati Yadav, former Block Chief of
Jungle Kaudiya. He said that Rampati Yadav, who had been associated with
Gorakhpeeth for a lifetime since 1952, became the Chief of Jungle Kaudiya in
