
Mumbai, 14 Feb (HS): Narcotic drugs worth Rs 2.15
crore were seized on Friday night, from three people including a Nigerian, from
Dimbiwali Palawa region in Thane district.
PSI Anil Gaikwad informed the media that three
accused were sitting in Ganesh Nagar in Umbarli village in a suspicious manner.
The police on patrolling duty noticed the foreigner sitting on a yellow
scooter. When enquired started running in an effort to dodge the police.
Police, however chased them and arrested. Narcotic drugs worth Rs 2.15 crore
were seized from them.
The thre have been identified as Nacorian (26) from
Nigeria, Avinash Vyankatesh Sadla (34) and Gajendran Sanjeev Naidu (34).
Further investigation has been initiated.
