
Guwahati, 14 February (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday announced that apart from the inauguration of the North Guwahati–Guwahati connecting bridge, several other major bridge and flyover projects across the state will soon be opened to the public.
The Chief Minister stated after an under-construction flyover inspection last night that in the month of March, a series of important flyovers will be inaugurated, including the Bharalumukh flyover in Guwahati, the Chandmari–Noonmati flyover, the Diphu flyover, the Lanka flyover and the Jorhat flyover. He said these projects will significantly ease traffic congestion and enhance connectivity in both urban and semi-urban areas.
Dr. Sarma further informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate several ambitious development projects to the people of Assam in the coming days. He described the upcoming inaugurations as a major boost to the state’s infrastructure and overall development.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the new connectivity projects will accelerate economic growth and improve the daily lives of citizens across Assam.-----------
