New Delhi, 13 February (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to unveil the name of the Seva Teerth building complex at approximately 1:30 PM today, Friday, February 13, formally inaugurating Seva Teerth alongside Kartavya Bhavan-1 and Kartavya Bhavan-2, before addressing a public gathering at Seva Teerth around 6:00 PM.

This landmark event in New Delhi's Central Vista redevelopment represents a transformative milestone in India's administrative framework, consolidating fragmented colonial-era offices into modern, citizen-centric facilities that promise enhanced collaboration and operational efficiency.

Seva Teerth will centralize the Prime Minister’s Office, National Security Council Secretariat, and Cabinet Secretariat—previously scattered across multiple sites—eliminating longstanding coordination hurdles, skyrocketing maintenance expenses, and suboptimal workspaces that plagued governance for decades.

Complementing it, Kartavya Bhavan-1 and -2 will house pivotal ministries such as Finance, Defence, Health & Family Welfare, Corporate Affairs, Education, Culture, Law & Justice, Information & Broadcasting, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Chemicals & Fertilizers, and Tribal Affairs, all unified under one digitally integrated roof.

Both complexes boast cutting-edge features including structured public interfaces, centralized receptions, 4-Star GRIHA-rated sustainable designs with renewable energy, water conservation, waste management, and high-performance envelopes to slash environmental footprints.

Robust security encompasses smart access controls, surveillance grids, and advanced emergency systems, fostering secure, accessible environments that prioritize employee welfare and seamless public engagement in this bold stride toward future-ready administration.
