Nagpur, 12 Feb (HS):
RSS Sarsangchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat stressed the need for establishment of an
independent Veterinary Doctors Council for research and guidance of experts in
the complicated veterinary science. The decisions taken by people from other
sciences could harm the field.
Dr Bhagwat was
speaking during a function organised at the Maharashtra Animal Husbandry and
Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU), Nagpur. Like necessity of a trained coach
in sports persons in the field of every sport, Veterinary Sciences should have
experts in the field through the independent Council.
Dr Bhagwat said that
he is emphasising the need for separate council, not because of is a veterinary
doctor, but only experts in any field can think properly for its development.
The rules and professional parameters set by such experts would help
development of the field.
Full six stanzas of
the National song ‘Vande Mataram…’ were recited, probably for the first time in
any university, during the programme, although the Government mandate is yet to
be enforced in the country.
