Actress Padmini Kolhapure to inaugurate

Singer Suresh Wadkar to perform

Nagpur, 11 Feb (HS): Renowned film actress Padmini

Kolhapur and singer Suresh Wadkar will be the guests for Khasdar Jyeshtha

Nagarik Sanskrutik Mahotsav to be held in Nagpur on February 14 and 15.

The annual cultural festival to entertain senior

citizens was conceptualised by MP from Nagpur and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari

and former MP and senior leader Datta Meghe. This is the fourth edition of the

festival for senior citizens.

The festival will be inaugurated by Padmini Kolhapure

at 10.30 am on February 14. Gadkari will preside over the inaugural function.

Datta Meghe will remain present. The inaugural function will be followed by a

musical concert by renowned singer and Padma Shri awardee Suresh Wadkar.

On February 15, renowned Marathi poet and lyricist and

music composer due Salil Kulkarni and Sandeep Khare will present popular show ‘Ayushyavar

Bolu Kaahi’, at 10.30 am. Renowned Marathi actress and social worker

Nishigandha Wad will be the guest of honour.
