Hooghy, 09 January (H.S.): After forming the Janata Unnayan Party, the party's chairman and Bharatpur MLA, Humayun Kabir, who arrived in Furfura Sharif on Friday, made a major political announcement. After meeting with the Pirzadas in Furfura Sharif, he announced the date for a public meeting at Kolkata's Brigade Parade Ground and the commencement of the 'Babri Masjid' construction. He also levelled strong accusations of corruption against the Trinamool Congress.

Speaking to the media in Furfura Sharif on Friday, Humayun Kabir said, “I am not afraid of anyone, nor do I want anyone to be afraid of me. Whichever political party talks about the downfall of the tyrannical and corrupt Trinamool government, if they invite me, I will go to them. I have no objection if they come to me either.”

When asked about a possible alliance with the BJP, Humayun flatly denied it. He said, “We have formed this new party to defeat the BJP. Therefore, there is no question of an alliance with the BJP.”

When asked about a possible understanding with the Left-Congress alliance, he said, “I will not say anything right now. Everything will become clear at the Brigade Parade Ground.”

Regarding the proposed public meeting at the Brigade Parade Ground, Humayun Kabir said that a massive public meeting would be held on Sunday, February 1st, at Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata. He said that defense department officials have called him for a meeting on Tuesday regarding this matter, and all necessary documents have been submitted. He hoped that permission for the public meeting will be granted without any obstacles.

Regarding the potential crowd at the Brigade Parade Ground, Humayun claimed, “My goal is to gather a crowd of 10 lakh people. However, it will not be possible for me to count how many people will actually come.”

He also hinted that a major political surprise might be in store at the Brigade rally.

Regarding the construction of 'Babri Masjid', Humayun Kabir announced that the construction work will begin on February 10th. He said that a private company in Bengaluru has been entrusted with the responsibility for this project and the construction of the mosque will be completed within two years.
