09 Jan (HS): The Ideal Homeopathic Welfare Organization (IHWO) organized a
scientific symposium at Rambagh, Prayagraj, to discuss infectious diseases
common during the winter season. Keynote speaker Dr. Bhanwar Singh explained
that the risk of infectious diseases increases during the winter because the
cold forces people to spend most of their time in closed and crowded spaces.
During
this time, illnesses such as flu, colds, coughs, sore throats, RSV, and
pneumonia are common. Dr. Bhanwar Singh advised maintaining hygiene, eating a
nutritious diet, drinking plenty of water, and avoiding crowded places. The
symposium also provided information about the Second All India Homeopathic
Medical Congress, to be held in Agra on January 10 and 11, 2026.

Sumit Patel, Dr. Vivek Gupta, Dr. Ashutosh Singh, Dr. Ashok Gupta, Dr. Kapoor
Kesarwani, Dr. Devesh Kushwaha, Mukesh Mishra, Prakash Chand Pandey etc. were
present in the seminar.
