Doda, 08 January (H.S.): Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh today visited the construction site of the new Kendriya Vidyalaya building at Jodhpur (Doda) to review the progress of ongoing work and assess the quality of construction.

During the visit, the DC inspected different components of the project and interacted with engineers and officials executing the work.

He stressed the timely completion of the school building to provide early benefit to the students. He directed the executing agency to maintain high construction standards and ensure that the infrastructure is safe, durable and fully compliant with the prescribed norms. He emphasized that the new building should provide a student friendly and academically conducive environment.

The DC also reviewed arrangements related to essential services and instructed the concerned departments to ensure proper coordination. He directed PHE and PDD departments to ensure timely installation of water supply and power connections so that the building has all facilities upon completion.
