Luxembourg City, 06 January (H.S.): External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden on Tuesday and conveyed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s greetings. Dr. Jaishankar, currently on an official visit to Luxembourg, highlighted the growing cooperation between India and Luxembourg in key sectors such as financial services, investment, technology, and innovation during the meeting.

In a social media post, Dr. Jaishankar noted that both leaders discussed ways to strengthen collaboration in these fields. He also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Frieden for his support in deepening India’s relations with the European Union.

Dr. Jaishankar’s visit to Luxembourg is part of a broader official trip that includes France and Luxembourg, running from January 4 to January 10, 2026.
