Special teams from the Public Health Department and the Water Corporation of Odisha (WATCO) were deployed to assess the situation and identify the possible source of infection.

Medical examinations and screening of affected students were conducted on the school campus. Officials stated that the review aims to determine the cause of the outbreak and to prevent further spread of the disease.

As part of the investigation, WATCO officials collected water samples from 12 locations within the school premises. The samples will be sent for laboratory analysis to ascertain whether the outbreak is linked to water contamination or other factors.
