Kathmandu, 05 January (H.S.): Just a day after former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' made a surprise visit to India, former Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba also departed for New Delhi on Monday. Dr. Rana’s private secretary, Bhanu Deuba, confirmed that she left for Delhi on a Nepal Airlines flight in the afternoon for medical treatment at Max Hospital.

While her official purpose is medical, political circles in Kathmandu are linking her trip to Nepal’s shifting political dynamics and the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Sources suggest that Dr. Rana may also hold some political meetings during her stay in Delhi, fueling speculation about possible diplomatic or strategic discussions.
