(HS): Four people lost their lives in head-on collision between two cars near

Sayat village in Bhatkuli-Daryapur Road in Amravati district. The accident

occurred around 10 pm on Wednesday. A speeding I-10 car hit Honda City car

coming from the opposite direction. The impact was so harsh that front portion

of both the vehicles was badly damaged.

The deceased

have been identified as Mukund Kale (5) of Yashodanagar, Amravati, Gopal Rajpurohit

(28) of Bhatkuli, Prem Bishnoi from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, and Driver Junaid.

Junaid was

driving a car which also carried Mukund Kale. Prem and Gopal who were working

in Bikaner Seet Mart in Bhatkuli.

The four were

rushed to the District Hospital, where the doctors declared them brought dead.

A large number

of relatives of the deceased gathered at the hospital on getting information

about the accident.

Police have

registered an office and initiated further investigation. High speed of

vehicles is suspected to be the main cause of the accident.
