Shinde met Sunetra Pawar, wife of Ajit Pawar who died in a plane crash in

Baramati on Wednesday.

Ajit Pawar was Deputy Chief Minister and his Nationalist

Congress Party was a partner in the ruling Mega-Alliance in Maharashtra. In his

condolence message Fadnavis has called Ajit Pawar and good friend, while Shinde

called him an elder brothers having wide experience in politics.

Meanwhile, Ajit Pawar’s body after the post-mortem

was kept a Vidya Pratishan ground for people to pay the last tribute. The

ground was over crowded by people from Baramati and adjoining regions and

leaders from across the state.

The last rites will be performed on Thursday in the

presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and

other leaders from Maharashtra.
