25 Jan (HS): The Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (AOGS)
celebrated its Annual Day on Saturday at AMACC, Prayagraj, bringing together
leading experts to focus on comprehensive women’s healthcare. The event
featured high-impact academic sessions, expert discussions, and guideline-based
updates in obstetrics and gynaecology, aimed at improving clinical practice and
patient outcomes. Eminent faculty like Dr Priti Kumar (Vice President Fogsi),
Dr Reena Srivastava (BRD Medical College, Gorakpur), Dr Mandakini Pradhan
(SGPGIMS, Lucknow), Dr Smriti Agrawal (KGMU, Lucknow) shared insights on
current challenges and emerging trends in women’s health.
Graced
by Padmashri Dr Raj Baveja and Guest of Honour Dr V.K Pandey (Principal, MLNMC,
and Prayagraj), the programme highlighted AOGS’s ongoing commitment to academic
excellence, professional development, and quality care for women across all
stages of life. The Baton of presidentship was passed to Dr (Prof.)Veena Gupta (MLNMC,
Prayagraj) and all the past president of the society were felicitated and honoured.
The Annual Day concluded with a call for continued collaboration and innovation
to strengthen women-centred healthcare. The event was organized by Dr Kumkum Tandon
President AOGS, Hon. secretary AOGS Dr Amrita Chaurasia and Team AOGS.
