Prayagraj,

23 Jan (HS): The administration's refusal to grant permission to the Rozgar Panchayat,

proposed on January 23, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose,

under the Yuva Mange Rozgar campaign, is a direct attack on

democracy. This allegation was made by Engineer Sunil Kushwaha, National

President of the Pragatisheel Samaj Party. Engineer Sunil Kushwaha stated that,

alarmed by the growing popularity of the Rozgar Panchayat, the administration

deliberately delayed the permission until the last minute, disappearing the

documents related to the permission, and making the workers run from pillar to

post seeking permission. He stated that this is not an administrative lapse,

but a deliberate conspiracy to suppress the voice of the youth. Kushwaha

further stated that the youth of Uttar Pradesh have been wasting their lives

and future waiting for jobs for years, but the government has neither a roadmap

nor accountability regarding employment. Paper leaks, stalled recruitments, and

unfulfilled promises are proof that the government is running away from the

issue of employment.

PSP

chief warned that such tactics will not weaken the fight for employment, but

will instead intensify it. A new date for the Rozgar Panchayat will be

announced soon. He said that this movement will continue until the youth

receive their right – employment.

Ajit

Patel, state vice president of the Pragatisheel Samaj Party, said that Uttar

Pradesh has today become a hotbed of unemployment, paper leaks, and stalled

recruitment. The Prime Minister's promise of two crore jobs every year is

nowhere to be seen on the ground. The government has completely failed to

provide employment to the youth and is now resorting to repression.

Advocate

Nishtha Dev, State General Secretary of the Pragatisheel Samaj Party Youth

Front, said that the diversion of youth vehicles, the summoning of officials to

police stations, and the dispatch of police to their homes demonstrate the

government's panic. She added that the youth are no longer afraid and are fully

prepared for a decisive fight. In addition to party officials and workers, a

large number of students and youth were present on the occasion.
