23 Jan (HS): As part of the nationwide celebrations marking 150 years of Vande
Mataram and the forthcoming Republic Day, HQ Purva Uttar Pradesh & Madhya
Pradesh Sub Area organised a grand Military Band Concert at the iconic Ganga
Pandal, Sangam, Prayagraj, on Friday.
The
evening was graced by a spellbinding performance from the Military Band of 1
Signal Training Centre and the Pipe Band of 39 Gorkha Training Centre, who
enthralled the audience with a stirring repertoire of martial tunes and
patriotic melodies. The performances reflected the rich musical heritage,
discipline, and precision that are hallmarks of the Indian Army, evoking pride
and national spirit among the spectators.
The
concert witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of over 1,000 civilians,
strengthening the enduring bond between the Armed Forces and the citizens. Set
against the majestic backdrop of the sacred confluence of the Ganga and Yamuna,
the Ganga Pandal added splendour to the occasion, making the event a memorable
tribute to the nation’s legacy, unity, and patriotism.
