22 Jan (HS): As part of the nationwide commemoration marking 150 years of the

Rashtriya Geet “Vande Mataram” and build up to Republic Day, a Military Band

performances is being organised at Ganga Pandal, Sangam, Prayagraj. This band

performance aims to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage, patriotism, and

the enduring legacy of the national song that inspired generations during the

freedom movement. The events will feature stirring musical renditions by

Military Band from 1 Signal Training

Centre and 39 Gorkha Training Centre offering citizens an opportunity to

experience the spirit of nationalism through music in the most iconic public space

across the city.

The

Band Display will be organised as under 23 January 2026 – Ganga Pandal, Sangam,

Prayagraj – 4PM to 5 PM The public is

cordially invited to attend these performances and be part of this historic

commemoration, celebrating 150 glorious years of “Vande Mataram” and Republic

Day through music, unity, and national pride.
