
Jorhat (Assam), 22 January (HS): The holy festival of Ganesh Chaturthi was observed with devotion and grandeur in Jorhat alongwith entire Assam on Thursday, with special prayers organised at the Pooja Mandir to mark the occasion.
As part of the celebrations, a massive 151-kg boondiya ladoo was offered to Lord Ganesha, drawing the attention of devotees who thronged the temple premises from early morning.
Devotees performed rituals and offered prayers to Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh Baba, seeking blessings for prosperity and well-being. The temple complex resonated with the chanting of Vedic mantras as priests conducted the puja in a traditional and spiritually charged atmosphere.
The festive observance created a devotional ambience across the temple area, reflecting deep faith and enthusiasm among the devotees.------------
