Delhi Police Reclaims CCTNS Summit for Second Month Running Amid Digital Policing Push

New Delhi, 02 January (H.S.): Delhi Police clinched the top position among all states and Union Territories on the CCTNS Pragati Dashboard for November 2025, marking the second consecutive month of dominance following its October lead, a senior official announced on Friday.

This accolade underscores the force's unwavering excellence in digital policing infrastructure and data management, as evaluated by the Ministry of Home Affairs and National Crime Records Bureau.

Dashboard Metrics Decoded

The Pragati Dashboard assesses performance monthly across 15 critical parameters, encompassing the proportion of police stations linked to CCTNS, Disaster Recovery Centre setups, core form entries, legacy data migration, data synchronization between State and National Data Centres, CCTNS-generated FIR submissions to courts, citizen portal services, and ICJS governance committee meetings.

Delhi Police's score reflects seamless integration of the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS)—a pan-India platform for crime data digitization—and the Inter-Operable Criminal Justice System (ICJS), which interconnects police, courts, prisons, forensics, and prosecution pillars.

Sustained Excellence Trajectory

The force previously topped the charts in December 2024 and January 2025, demonstrating consistent national leadership in CCTNS implementation.

Success stems from meticulous coordination by the Crime Branch's CCTNS team, which provides real-time monitoring, swift issue resolution, and uniform guidance to districts and units, ensuring data quality, timeliness, and accuracy.

Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golchha praised the achievement as a testament to the professionalism and dedication permeating all ranks.
