Guwahati, 19 January (HS): Continuing his humanitarian initiatives, Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma has taken responsibility for the advanced medical treatment of a two-year-old child from Bokakhat, identified as Banchi Sutradhar. The child is being sent to Narayana Hridayalaya in Bengaluru for specialised cardiac care.

The Chief Minister assured the parents of full support, including free heart surgery at the Bengaluru hospital. Expressing relief and gratitude, the child’s parents thanked the Chief Minister for his timely intervention.

As part of the same initiative, a total of 15 children from Assam were sent to Bengaluru today for advanced medical treatment, facilitated by the Chief Minister’s proactive efforts.----------
