
Jammu, 18 January (H.S.): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today released Save Girl Child awareness short film “Mareya Ni Maye Migi”, at Lok Bhavan. The Lieutenant Governor congratulated the entire team and conveyed his best wishes to them.
The film, produced under the banner of DLSR Production Jammu, addresses the issue of female foeticide and draws inspiration from Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s empowering slogan, “Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao.”
Meanwhile, Ravinder Raina, senior BJP leader and former MLA called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, today.
He discussed various public important issues and development of several religious sites including Baba Naar Singh Ji Dev Sthan (Lamberi) Nowshera, Mangla Mata Shrine & Mangla Devi (Fort & Temple) under religious and border tourism and Peer Badesar near LoC in Rajouri.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha released J&K Shri Kashi Vidwat Parishad’s Dairy and Panchang Calendar 2026, at Lok Bhavan today.
The Lieutenant Governor extended his felicitations to Padma Shri Prof. Vishwa Murti Shastri, president, J&K Shri Kashi Vidwat Parishad Jammu, editorial team, and all the members of the parishad for their dedicated efforts in promoting and preserving cultural heritage.
The 2026 Calendar is designed as a comprehensive spiritual and cultural guide featuring information about auspicious occasions, festivals and religious rituals.
Meanwhile, a delegation of National and UT Awardee Teachers from Jammu Kashmir led by Veena Koul called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today.
