New Delhi, 17 January (H.S.): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta declared that truth has ultimately triumphed in the Atishi video controversy. She stated that the Forensic Science Laboratory report has conclusively proven no tampering occurred in the video. Now, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders must apologize to the nation.
In an X post on Saturday, the Chief Minister asserted that the video—capturing Leader of Opposition Atishi's indecent and shameful remark on the sacrifices of gurus during the winter session on January 6—is 100 percent authentic. No manipulation of any kind has taken place in this recording of the Assembly proceedings.
The Chief Minister described it as deeply unfortunate and disgraceful that, instead of acknowledging their mistake, AAP sought to suppress the truth by enlisting the Punjab government, Punjab Police, and Punjab's forensic lab. She accused AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal of shielding the misuse of Punjab government agencies to bury the entire matter—a reprehensible attempt. She emphasized that advancements in forensic science and irrefutable evidence have today exposed their conspiracy.AAP leaders must apologize to the country for insulting the gurus.
