New Delhi, 17 January (H.S.): The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report on a controversial video involving Delhi Assembly Leader of Opposition Atishi has confirmed no audio or visual tampering occurred, explicitly verifying the unaltered use of the word guru within the footage.

Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta revealed the findings during a press conference at his residence on Saturday, stressing that the video remains entirely original and intact, as unanimously decided for forensic scrutiny during the winter session.

Gupta recounted how the matter, forwarded for investigation, was preempted by Punjab authorities who abruptly declared their probe complete, issued a report, and registered an FIR against a Delhi Cabinet minister—exposing what he termed a stark divide between truth and fabrication.

Dismissing a Jalandhar court order as merely interim and inconclusive on guilt or innocence, he vowed a CBI inquiry into Punjab's FSL report, presenting the document verbatim to journalists, which unambiguously captures Atishi's precise utterance of guru.

The episode traces to January 6 proceedings between 3:50 and 4:00 PM, where Speaker Gupta urged members to summon attendees but cautioned against misleading statements; Atishi demanded pollution discussions first, citing children's respiratory distress, prompting Water Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh to reference a scheduled debate on January 7.

Amid disruptions, Atishi retorted, Then hold the discussion—why evade? You say respect dogs, respect gurus, eliciting the Speaker's firm intervention to maintain order and affirm readiness for extended pollution talks.

Cabinet Minister Kuljeet Chahal's X post echoed Satyameva Jayate, hailing the public FSL validation of Atishi's sin in the House, while accusing Arvind Kejriwal of greater wrongdoing by allegedly misusing Punjab Police to shield her—declaring milk separated from water on this day.
