Delhi, 17 January (H.S.): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated several key health and welfare projects in the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency on Saturday. She formally launched three new Ayushman Arogya Mandirs located at WP Block, VP Block, and the Haiderpur maternity home, alongside one Atal Canteen.

In addition, she laid the foundation stone for the construction works on Meenakshi Mandir Road.In a post on the social media platform X, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated that these Ayushman Arogya Mandirs would provide local residents with free doctor consultations, diagnostic facilities, essential medicines, vaccinations, and primary treatment right at their doorstep.

This initiative promises significant relief, particularly for the elderly, women, and children.She highlighted that the Atal Canteen at Badli Mode would offer hot, nutritious meals to the needy for just five rupees. This endeavor marks a crucial step toward ensuring food security for economically disadvantaged sections of society.

Chief Minister Gupta emphasized that these schemes—spanning health, dignity, and infrastructure—would impart fresh momentum to the all-round development of the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency. She expressed confidence that the projects would not only elevate citizens' quality of life but also strengthen healthcare services and basic amenities in the area.

Local residents welcomed the Chief Minister's initiatives, hailing them as commendable steps taken in the public interest.
