
New Delhi, 12 January (H.S.): Domestic bullion markets witnessed a marginal decline on Monday, with both gold and silver prices softening amid subdued trading sentiment. This weakness led to 24-carat gold trading between ₹1,40,450 and ₹1,40,600 per 10 grams across most markets in the country.
City-Wise Gold Prices
In Delhi, 24-carat gold reached ₹1,40,600 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹1,28,890 per 10 grams. Mumbai recorded 24-carat gold at ₹1,40,450 per 10 grams and 22-carat at ₹1,28,740 per 10 grams, with Ahmedabad close behind at ₹1,40,500 and ₹1,28,790 per 10 grams respectively. Chennai, Kolkata, and Bhopal mirrored similar levels, with 24-carat gold at ₹1,40,450–₹1,40,500 per 10 grams and 22-carat at ₹1,28,740–₹1,28,790 per 10 grams.
Silver and Regional Trends
Silver prices in Delhi's bullion market fell to ₹2,59,900 per kilogram, reflecting the broader downward trend. Lucknow saw 24-carat gold at ₹1,40,600 and 22-carat at ₹1,28,890 per 10 grams, while Patna and Jaipur aligned with ₹1,40,500–₹1,40,600 and ₹1,28,790–₹1,28,890 per 10 grams. In Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar—capitals of Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha—24-carat gold traded at ₹1,40,450 per 10 grams, with 22-carat at ₹1,28,740 per 10 grams.
