Dhubri (Assam), 04 August (HS): In a major anti-drug operation, Gauripur police arrested three individuals — including a woman — from Geramari in Naidar village under Dhubri district.

During the raid, the police recovered 33.39 grams of suspected heroin stored in 30 containers and an additional 1.45 grams hidden in a polythene packet inside their house.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Inamul Haque, Sahadul Haque and Manjula Bibi. Police have taken all three into custody and begun interrogation.
