New Delhi, August 22(HS): The domestic bullion market continued to witness a mild upward trend on Thursday, with both gold and silver prices edging higher across major cities.
In most markets, 24-carat gold traded between ₹1,00,760 and ₹1,00,910 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced between ₹92,310 and ₹92,460 per 10 grams. Silver joined the rally, rising to ₹1,16,100 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.
In Delhi, 24-carat gold was quoted at ₹1,00,910 per 10 grams, while 22-carat traded at ₹92,460. Mumbai markets saw prices at ₹1,00,760 and ₹92,310 per 10 grams for 24- and 22-carat gold, respectively.
Ahmedabad recorded 24-carat gold at ₹1,00,810 and 22-carat at ₹92,360 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Chennai and Kolkata, 24-carat gold traded at ₹1,00,760, while 22-carat gold hovered around ₹92,310.
In Lucknow and Jaipur, rates stood at ₹1,00,910 (24-carat) and ₹92,460 (22-carat) per 10 grams. Patna reported marginally lower figures at ₹1,00,810 and ₹92,360, respectively.
Meanwhile, bullion markets in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar also reflected this upward momentum, where 24-carat gold was quoted at ₹1,00,760 and 22-carat at ₹92,310 per 10 grams.
Analysts note that global trends and a modest recovery in investor demand are sustaining this steady climb in precious metal prices.
