Kokrajhar (Assam), 25 July (HS): The preliminary voter list for the constituencies falling under the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) has been officially published by the Kokrajhar district administration. The list has been prepared with reference to the eligibility date of January 1, 2025 and is now open for public inspection.

The draft list for 12 BTC constituencies—Parvatjhora (Scheduled Tribe), Guma (General), Srirampur (Non-Tribal), Jamduar (Scheduled Tribe), Saraibeel (Scheduled Tribe), Kachugaon (Scheduled Tribe), Fakiragram (Non-Tribal), Dotma (Scheduled Tribe), Banargaon (Scheduled Tribe), Debergaon (Scheduled Tribe), Baukhungri (Scheduled Tribe), and Salakati (Scheduled Tribe)—can be inspected.

Citizens can inspect these preliminary lists at the District Deputy Commissioner Office of Kokrajhar, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Gosaigaon and Parbatjhora, and Circle Officer Offices of Kokrajhar, Dotma, Bhauragudi, Gosaigaon and Bagribari. Apart from this, this list is also available online on the OERMS portal https://ermssec.assam.gov.in.

The preliminary voter list was published on July 22, 2025. All voters have been requested to check their details and submit claims or objections in the prescribed format (Form A, B or C) to the respective Returning Officer. Fill Form A if the name is not in the list, Form B for deletion or objection, and Form C for correction in details. These forms can be submitted till August 5, 2025 at the Election Branch of DC Office of Kokrajhar, SDO (Civil) Office of Gosaigaon and SDO (Civil) Office of Parbatjhora.

All the above forms are available in all the revenue circle offices of the district, election branch of the District Deputy Commissioner's office and both the SDO (civil) offices (Gosaigaon and Parvatjhora).

The last date for settlement of claims and objections has been fixed as August 11. After this, the final voter list will be published on August 13. The district administration has urged all eligible voters to actively participate in this process and ensure the accuracy and completeness of the voter list.
