Kamrup (Assam), 23 July (HS): A loan waiver camp was organised by Indian Bank in Rangia. Rangia, Changsari-Borka, Hajo and Nalbari branches of the bank also participated in this programme organised on Wednesday in the premises of the bank's branch office in Rangia town.

Debt free certificates were given to 19 customers under the branches in the camp. An awareness meeting was also organised along with the loan waiver camp. The bank's DGM and Co Recovery Officer K. Shankarnarayanan participated in the meeting and told about the steps taken to make various people self-reliant through loans to boost the rural economy.

The bank's Guwahati Zone Regional Manager Alok Kumar, Guwahati Zone Deputy Manager M Sandeep Malik along with Rangia Dongpar Branch Manager Keshavanand Pegu and many other senior officials participated and informed about the various developmental steps being taken by the bank.
