Seppa (Arunachal Pradesh), 31 May (HS): All the seven bodies of the deceased in the tragic accident on the Bana-Seppa road in East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh were recovered on Saturday.
This accident took place on late Friday evening when a car was swept away in a landslide and fell into a deep gorge, killing seven people, including a pregnant woman and two children.
Sources have said that during the landslide amid continuous rain, people of two families was travelling in the vehicle became victims of the accident. The death of all seven people has been confirmed.
The victims include Shankar Aka, also known as Sanju Badi (32), his wife Tasum Badi, their daughter Kachung Badi (5), son Nicha Badi (2), a pregnant woman and two children.
It is noteworthy that seven people died in a landslide that swept away their vehicle in a landslide that occurred between Bana and Seppa on National Highway 13 in East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh late on Friday evening.
A local police officer said that seven members of a family were travelling from Bana to Seppa in a Brezza car. The car was caught in a landslide due to incessant rain.
The rescue team reached the spot and carried out relief and rescue operations and recovered all the bodies today and sent them to the hospital for post-mortem.
Home Minister Mama Natung expressed deep grief over the deaths of people in his constituency. He said in a statement, It is very sad to hear about the tragic death of seven people in the landslide on NH-13 between Bana and Seppa.

The MLA urged citizens to be vigilant during the monsoon season and avoid travelling at night, especially in landslide-prone areas. I request everyone to be cautious and avoid travelling at night.
