Delhi, 23 May (H.S.): Two more FIRs have been filed against Mohsin Khan, coach of the Dream Olympic Shooting Academy in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, over allegations of rape and molestation. A woman lawyer lodged a rape complaint, while another woman reported molestation to the police late Thursday night. Investigations are underway. Hindu organizations have claimed the incidents are connected to love jihad. The lawyer, who began training at the academy in February 2021, alleged that Mohsin raped her in July 2022 after threatening her with disgrace if she reported him. She stated that from February 2022 to December 2023, he coerced her into multiple sexual encounters and continued to blackmail her, even post-marriage. The second victim, who joined the academy, accused Mohsin of making inappropriate comments and touching her inappropriately on May 16. After facing harassment and derogatory remarks tied to her caste, she quit her job in July 2024. Following the first complaint, she approached the police to disclose her own experience. The police have registered cases against Mohsin for rape, threats, blackmail, molestation, and caste discrimination.
Reports have emerged claiming that over 100 obscene videos were found on his phone, though this remains unconfirmed by police. Local Hindu organizations assert that the case illustrates a love jihad agenda, claiming that many victims involved are from Hindu backgrounds. Bajrang Dal has alleged that Mohsin has exploited over 150 girls, highlighting their ongoing surveillance of the academy. The police have confiscated his mobile phone for forensic analysis while continuing their investigation.
