Uttarkashi, May 23 (H.S.): A bus transporting 41 pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh to Gangotri overturned on the Dharasu-Gangotri Highway around 6:15 AM on Friday, injuring ten passengers, eight of whom are in serious condition. Rescue teams, including police and SDRF, were dispatched to the scene near Nalupani.

Following the incident, Additional District Magistrate P.L. Shah visited the Chardham Yatra Control Room in Uttarkashi and confirmed that all injured individuals were evacuated and taken to the Community Health Center in Dunda for treatment, with most injuries reported as minor. A detailed investigation report is awaiting.
