New Delhi, May 22 (H.S.): Under India's diplomatic initiative, a high-level all-party delegation led by Shiv Sena MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde engaged with the leadership and media in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday. They highlighted the significance of 'Operation Sindoor' and clarified India's strong policy against cross-border terrorism.

The delegation arrived in Abu Dhabi on Thursday. This was the first stop of their four-country tour in the UAE. The Indian Embassy in the UAE issued a press release in this regard. According to it, the delegation met with the UAE leadership and media. Besides Shinde, the delegation included MPs Baansuri Swaraj, Mohammad Bashir, Atul Garg, Sasmita Patra, Manan Kumar Mishra, Surendrajeet Singh Ahluwalia, and former ambassador Sujan Chinoy.

The delegation met with Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, who expressed deep condolences regarding the Pahalgam terror attack. During the meeting, the delegation reported that Pakistan is sponsoring terrorism in India and is conspiring to sow discord in society. Meanwhile, Nahyan Mubarak stated that India and the UAE will face terrorism together, and the UAE will always stand with India.

Additionally, the delegation met with Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council, along with other Emirati MPs. Terrorism is against humanity, and the global community must take immediate action against it. The delegation also met with Dr. Jamal Al Kaabi, Director of the National Media Office, to share factual information about the propaganda spread by Pakistan.

Dr. Shrikant Shinde outlined India's counter-terrorism policy in an interview with the UAE's leading newspaper, 'The National'.
