Road, 08 Apr (HS):- Dadi Ratan Mohini, the Administrative Chief of Brahmakumaris,
passed away on Tuesday night in a hospital in Ahmedabad. The centenarian
spiritual leader celebrated her 101st birthday on March 25.

Mohini was the second chief of the Brahmakumaris to reach the milestone of a
century after Dadi Janki, who also served the organisation as its chief.
After her
condition worsened on Sunday, she was shifted to a trauma centre in Shantivan
and later to a hospital in Ahmedabad, where she breather her last. Her mortal
remains have been kept at the Shantivan Conference Hall.
Born on March
25, 1025, and made Laxmi by the parents, she got associated with Brahmakumaris
at the age of 13 and worked for youth and women empowerment and world peace.
She led the
training programme for newcomers to the organisation, led ‘Padyatra’ of youth in
2006 to spread the message of love, peace, universal brotherhood, spirituality,
and de-addiction. She took out many ‘Padyatra’, of which a 30,000 km log march in
2006 entered the Limca Book of World Records. She was also awarded the honorary doctorate by
the Gulbarga University on February 20, 2014 and was honoured with many
national and international awards.
