Bhandara, 05 Apr (HS):- Bhandara police booked two

persons for bating in Kharbi town in Bhandara district. Local police raided the residence of Ajay Goswami, where Ashish Giripunje was accepting money and betting

on IPL matches.

Based on intelligence information, the police raided Goswami’s house and seized three mobile phone sets, Rs 2,160 cash, calculators, and a two-wheeler belonging to Ashish Premji Guripunje (33). The

total value of the material seized was estimated at Rs 63,715.

During interrogation, Ashish named Manoj Prakash Navkhare,

Ganeshpur, for whom he worked.

Jawaharnagar police have registered an offence

against Ashish Giripunje and Mano Navkhare, and are searching for others

involved in the betting racket.
