Bhubaneswar, 5 April (H.S.): In preparation for the Ram Navami celebrations tomorrow, the Twin City Commissionerate Police has implemented stringent security measures to ensure peaceful and orderly festivities in the city. A total of 25 platoons of police personnel will be deployed throughout Cuttack.
Cuttack's Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Khilari Rishikesh Dnyandeo, confirmed that the security arrangements will involve forces from both within the district and from neighboring areas. Flag marches are scheduled for this evening in locations where processions and motorcycle rallies are expected. Additionally, intensified night patrolling will be conducted to uphold law and order.
“Static deployment will be strategically placed, particularly around temples and other religious sites,” the DCP stated.
Furthermore, the police have held coordination meetings with local puja committees to ensure the smooth execution of the Ram Navami events. The measures aim to provide a safe and peaceful environment for all participants during the celebration of Lord Rama's birth.
