Ayodhya, 05 April (HS): Ram Navami
preparations in Ayodhya include prioritizing regular devotees at the Ram
temple, implementing ORS solutions for pilgrims due to heat, and complete crowd
and traffic control. The occasion would
include major activities such as the lighting of two lakh diyas and cultural
performances at Ram Katha Park. The
sacred city of Ayodhya is in full swing as it prepares for the great
celebration of Ram Navami, which takes place on Sunday. The Uttar Pradesh government has implemented
thorough crowd and traffic control strategies, as well as health precautions,
to ensure the safety and comfort of pilgrims in the sweltering heat. More than two lakh diyas will brighten
Ayodhya, with a specific emphasis on regular pilgrims to the Ram shrine.
Security has been strengthened by
paramilitary troops, PAC, and civil police, while the NDRF and SDRF are still
on watch along the Saryu River. Heavy
trucks would be redirected to the Purvanchal Expressway to ease traffic
congestion. In addition to traditional
celebrations, Ram Katha Park will host a live broadcast of Ram Janmotsav as
well as cultural performances including as dance, music, and theater. The Ram
Mandir Trust has also prepared to expand darshan hours to accommodate the
anticipated increase of pilgrims.
