Lucknow, 05 April (HS): UP Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked authorities to take severe efforts to
preserve Rabi crops from burning. He
spoke at the Gorakhnath temple, urging a prompt reaction and compensation for
impacted farmers. The emphasis was also
on fire risk reduction, temple security, and continuous development
initiatives. In an effort to protect
Rabi crops, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued urgent
directions to undertake strong fire protection measures. During a meeting at the Gorakhnath temple, he
urged rapid action to fight fires, putting farmers' wellbeing first. Adityanath stressed on prompt compensation
for farmers impacted by fires, emphasizing adherence to government procedures. He recommended improved district
fire-prevention measures and fast response capabilities, citing increased fire
dangers caused by rising temperatures during crop development. Along with
agricultural issues, the Chief Minister reviewed security arrangements for the
Ram Navami celebrations and directed authorities to complete development
projects on schedule, including the Gorakhpur Link Expressway and Ayush
University, while emphasizing excellent building standards.
