Dehradun, April 27 (HS): Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj announced the cancellation of registration for 77 Pakistani pilgrims for the Char Dham and Hemkund Sahib Yatra. All preparations for the Yatra are complete, with over 2.2 million devotees having registered online, including more than 25,000 foreign visitors from 185 countries.

To manage traffic, Uttarkashi police have been provided with 10 new motorcycles for patrolling narrow and sensitive routes. Strict actions are mandated against officials to prevent issues such as black marketing of helicopter tickets and improper parking fee collection.

For this year’s Yatra, registration options include online, offline, and mobile app usage, along with Aadhaar number registration.

Offline registration will commence on April 28 at four sites: Haridwar, Rishikesh, Vikasnagar, and Herbertpur, ensuring convenience for pilgrims.
