Bangkok, April 26 (HS): A DHC-6-400 Twin Otter police aircraft crashed in the Gulf of Thailand on Friday morning, resulting in the deaths of all six officers aboard. The crash was reported by Thailand's 191 Emergency Center at 8:15 AM, occurring approximately 100 meters from the Baby Grand Hua Hin Hotel in Cha-Am district. The aircraft was on a test flight for parachute training when it lost balance shortly after takeoff.

Five officers died at the scene, while the severely injured pilot, Police Captain Chaturong Wattana-Paisarn, succumbed to his injuries later at a hospital. Thailand's Police Chief Kitharath Punpech inspected the site for preliminary investigations.
