Abbottabad, April 26 (H.S.): Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended the passing-out ceremony at the Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, Abbottabad, where he issued strong warnings to India. He urged India to stop its accusations, stating that Pakistan is prepared to respond decisively to any provocations.
Sharif emphasized the armed forces' readiness to defend the nation's sovereignty and condemned India's claims regarding the Pahalgam attack, labeling them baseless and unsupported by evidence. He called for an international investigation into the incident and warned against any attempts to interfere with Pakistan's water rights under the Indus Waters Treaty.
Reiterating Pakistan's resolve, he highlighted that historical responses, such as the one to India's 2019 airstrike, will continue for future aggressions. While asserting Pakistan's commitment to peace, he clarified that it should not be mistaken for weakness, stressing that the nation's dignity and security are paramount, and water availability for its population will be safeguarded at all costs.
