Raipur, April 18 (HS): A team from the CBI, consisting of over seven officers, conducted a raid at the residence of former IAS Anil Tuteja in Katora Talaab, Civil Lines, as part of investigations into the Chhattisgarh liquor scam. This operation is linked to several ongoing cases, including the NAN scam, Mahadev App, coal, and excise scams. While Tuteja has been imprisoned in Raipur Central Jail for over a year due to the liquor scandal, the CBI's search operation is ongoing, and officials are interrogating Tuteja's family and reviewing various documents.

Recently, the Supreme Court granted Tuteja conditional bail related to the ED (Enforcement Directorate) case after his prolonged judicial custody. However, due to an additional case with the EOW (Economic Offenses Wing), he remains incarcerated.

The ED alleges that over 2,000 crores were embezzled in government liquor operations during Bhupesh Baghel's administration, marking Tuteja's significant involvement in the scandal.
