Kolkata, April 17 (HS). After the order of the Supreme Court, 'qualified' teachers who lost their jobs on Thursday got temporary relief. According to the order of the Supreme Court, 'qualified' teachers will be able to remain present in schools till 31 December 2025. After the order of the Supreme Court, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee gave a message to the unemployed while addressing a press in Navanna on Thursday. Mamata said that the state is ensuring that qualified teachers do not face any problem. An appeal was also filed in the Supreme Court. This time the court has responded to that request. The Chief Minister expressed hope that the problem will be solved this year.

In Thursday's order, the Supreme Court said that SSC should issue new recruitment guidelines by May 31. All recruitment processes should be completed by December 31 this year. Earlier, while giving the verdict in a case related to the 2016 teacher recruitment case, the Chief Justice's division bench had said that the recruitment process should be completed within three months. However, at that time the question arose whether it is possible to complete all the processes in such a short time. Commenting on the issue, the Chief Minister said, We have time till December. All the problems will be resolved within this year.

Meanwhile, the previous decision of the Supreme Court has also created uncertainty about the payment of salary to the eligible teachers. Today's decision will clear the confusion on that issue as well. Commenting on this, the Chief Minister said, I was worried about how to pay the salary to the teachers. However, I also told how to make alternative arrangements for them. Meanwhile, the message from the Chief Minister to the teachers was, Don't worry. Work hard and work with a clean mind. When you suffer, we also suffer.
