Gold became expensive for the second consecutive day


New Delhi, March 30 (H.S.): The price of gold in the domestic bullion market has continued to strengthen today, Sunday, with a rise of 1,300 to 1,370 rupees per 10 grams over the past week. This has driven the price of 24-carat gold above 91,000 rupees per 10 grams, with current prices ranging from 91,200 to 91,350 rupees in various bullion markets across the country.

The price of 22-carat gold is recorded between 83,600 and 83,750 rupees per 10 grams. Silver prices have also increased by nearly 3,000 rupees per kilogram, currently trading at 1,03,900 rupees per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In major cities, the prices are as follows: Delhi has 24-carat gold at 91,350 rupees and 22-carat gold at 83,750 rupees; Mumbai sees 24-carat gold at 91,200 rupees and 22-carat gold at 83,600 rupees. In Ahmedabad, the prices are 91,250 rupees for 24-carat and 83,650 rupees for 22-carat gold.

Chennai and Kolkata also show similar prices, while Lucknow has 24-carat at 91,350 rupees and 22-carat at 83,750 rupees. Patna and Jaipur report 24-carat gold at 91,250 and 91,350 rupees, respectively. In the states of Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha, 24-carat gold is trading at 91,200 rupees per 10 grams, reflecting similar trends.
