Islamabad, March 27 (H.S.): The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has intensified its confrontations with Pakistan's federal government, making Balochistan the country's most volatile province. Recently, 13 individuals were killed in two attacks targeting bus passengers and a home.
Reports indicate that six bus passengers were shot in Gwadar, while seven family members were killed in Sohbatpur, with victims including a woman and three children. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the Gwadar incident. This follows previous violence in Kalat and Noshki, where at least eight people were murdered, and a convoy attack resulted in five deaths, including three Frontier Corps soldiers.
The BLA has also engaged in sabotage, such as blowing up railway tracks and taking passengers hostage, prompting a military response that claimed to have killed 33 fighters and rescued hostages.
