Basel, 18 March (H.S.): The Yonex Swiss Open is scheduled for March 18-23, 2025, at St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland, offering USD 250,000 in prize money and essential qualifying points for the 2025 World Championships in Paris.

As a Super 300 tournament, it has a history of success for Indian badminton players, with former champions including PV Sindhu, K Srikanth, and Saina Nehwal. Indian fans are hopeful for improved performances after recent disappointments, especially since the top players will compete, although Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will miss the event due to an injury to Chirag.

The All England tournament didn't favor the Indians, with only Lakshya Sen and Treesa Jolly-Gayatri Gopichand reaching the quarterfinals, where they both lost. Fans eagerly await a resurgence in performance at the Swiss Open.
